User Privileges

User privilege settings determine which pages and functionality are available to users on the Vendor Portal.

Account Administration

Users with Account Administration privileges have the power to view and manage the most sensitive information about your account. This privilege allows users to access the following pages on the Vendor Portal: On the Manage Users page, these privileges are listed in the "Account Admin" column.

Vendor Portal Administration

Sign in to Vendor Portal
Sign-in privileges allow users to sign into the Transcepta Vendor Portal and perform basic viewing and editing. Users with this privilege are allowed to:
  • View invoices and invoice details
  • View and edit the Address Book
  • Change their own password
  • Access the on-line knowledge base (future)
On the Manage Users page, these privileges are listed in the "Sign-in" column.

Modify Invoices
This user privilege means users are allowed to cancel or un-cancel invoices on the Invoice Details page. Users who do not have this privilege will still be able to view invoice details on the page, however they will not be allowed to use the "cancel invoice" and "un-cancel invoice" buttons.

On the Manage Users page, these privileges are listed in the "Edit" column.

Invoice Profile Administration
This privilege is for users who need to manage the invoice profiles on your account. It allows them access all but the most sensitive pages on the Vendor Portal. With this privilege, users can access the following pages:
  • Manage Your Invoice Profiles
  • Edit Your Vendor Configuration Settings
  • Purge Test Invoices (future)
  • Download the Virtual Print Driver
  • All the pages listed under Sign in to Invoicer Portal:
On the Manage Users page, these privileges are listed in the "Profile Admin" column.
